GE Osmonics Desal membranes
GE Osmonics membrane elements are applied for placing reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes in RO systems for water treatment.
Below you will find the data sheets and technical drawings of all 4 inch and 8 inch GE Osmosics membranes suitable for different pressure ratings depending on the to be treated salinity of the water. Also the end-caps and membrane module connectors are indicated with their model type numbers for spare parts & components ordering and material selection.
AD - High Rejection High Flow Seawater RO Elements AE-400AE-440 AE - High Rejection Low Energy Seawater RO Elements
AG - Brackish water membranes AG Standard Brackish Water Elements are selected when high rejection and operating pressures as low as 200 psi are desired. These elements allow moderate energy savings, and are considered a standard in the industry.
AG LF - High Rejection Low Fouling Brackish water RO Elements AG-90 AG 2PASS - Standard Brackish Water Elements for 2 Pass RO Systems
AG - Brackish water membranes High Rejection AG Standard Brackish Water Elements are selected when high rejection and operating pressures as low as 200 psi are desired. These elements allow moderate energy savings, and are considered a standard in the industry. AK - Low Energy Brackish Water RO Elements AK elements are selected when high rejection and low operating pressures are desired. These elements allow significant energy savings since good rejection is achieved at low operating pressures.

Duraslick Series Duraslick is a family series of membrane elements engineered for use with fouling-prone brackish water applications. Duraslick is designed to utilize an innovative three-layer membrane, of which a proprietary middle layer creates extreme smoothness, and provide a high rejection of salts.
Duraslick HS Series Duraslick HS elements are specially designed for comparatively higher suspended solids levels. Duratherm HWS Series The Duratherm RO HF Series is specifically designed to maximize the benefits of continuous high temperature operation as well as hot water sanitization for industries willing to maximize energy recovery and use hot purified water. Separation system sanitization protocol is performed via periodic exposure to temperature as high as 90°C at minimum feed pressure to kill microorganisms by denaturation and coagulation of the proteins chains. The Duratherm HWS RO and HWS NF are suitable for separation systems purifying water at temperature up to 122°F (50°C), Duratherm HWS UF up to 158°F (70°C) in low crossflow environment and no suspended solids.
EW Series The EW family of elements should be selected when pretreatment is in need to keep a reverse osmosis or a nanofiltration system running. EW will remove suspended solids and other known foulants.
GM Series - Industrial Ultrafiltration Elements
HL Series - Nanofiltration membranes HL Nanofiltration Elements are used for water softening, color removal, and reduction of THM formation potential.

Seasoft Series - NF Elements for Sulfates and Hardness Removal from Sea Water NF has the unique ability to selectively reject ions: • Rejection of anions with more than one negative charge • Rejection of cations depending on shape and size • Rejection of organic if molecular weight is >200-300 Daltons • At least 80% of water hardness is removed with low operating pressure and high flux.
