In normal Seawater Desalination (3-4% Salinity) the rule of thumb is to expect 35-53% Water Recovery from your Reverse Osmosis system.  This is due to the Hydrostatic Pressure of the Brine and the Burst Pressure of the membranes that prevent the system to go beyond the 75 bars and thus lowering its Total Water Recovery.

While membranes that can take up to 120 bars pressure have lately been developed and can raise the brine up to 12%.
