Grundfos SP 125-10
Submersible borehole pump, suitable for pumping clean water. Can be installed vertically or horizontally. All steel components are made in stainless steel, EN 1.4301 (AISI 304), that ensures high corrosive resistance. This pump carries drinking water approval. The pump is fitted with a 147 kW MMS10000 motor with sand shield, water-lubricated journal bearings and a volume compensating diaphragm. The rewindable motor contruction allows complete access to the windings for easy rewinding. The stator windings are PE/PA insulated made for continous operations (S1). Suitable for temperatures up to 50 °C. The motor is fitted with a mechanical shaft seal. The motor is not fitted with a temperature sensor. If temperature monitoring is desired, a Pt100 or Pt1000 sensor can be fitted. The motor is for direct-on-line starting (DOL).

Applications
- Community water supply — Reliable, sustainable and low-risk community water systems from source to tap, including water management and revenue collection systems, for low-income remote or informal urban settlement areas in developing countries.
- Domestic ground water intake — Groundwater is essential for water supply. Providing a reliable, fresh supply of water for all homeowners is equally essential, particularly for those whose water source is a private groundwater well.
- Domestic water pressure boosting — Low or varying water pressure in the home? A water pressure pump solves the very common problems of low-pressure showers and trickling taps that reduce comfort in one- or two-family homes.
- Ground water intake — You require a cost-effective, reliable and energy-optimised submersible pumping solution for borehole installations. Our pumps and pump systems are optimised for the highest performance and reliability for groundwater installations.
- Irrigation — Our high-efficiency pumping solutions work seamlessly with modern irrigation systems for agricultural and non-agricultural applications and can operate with on- and off-grid energy sources.
