BMS hp MG is a high-pressure pump with a Grundfos MG motor. It is suitable for applications where a high system pressure is required as it can handle an inlet pressure up to 80 bar. Therefore, BMS hp MG is ideal for water treatment, pressure boosting, liquid transfer, and closed circulation systems with a high static pressure.
BM hp MG pumps are available in various sizes and with a large variety in the number of impellers. The range covers BM hp 18 to BM hp 215, a total of nine sizes. Depending on its size, the flow rate of a BMS hp MG pump ranges between 20 and 256 m3/h. BMS hp MG pumps can increase the system pressure up to 82.7 bar.
The pump is supplied with a Grundfos MG or a Siemens motor. 3 or 6 inch Victaulic connections can be used for the inlet and outlet, however, they must be purchased separately. The motor is protected by output filters against overvoltage and increased operating temperature. As a result, BMS hp MG is very reliable and durable. If maintenance or alignment is needed, BMS hp MG requires only three tools for dismantling, and the shaft seal and thrust bearing are easily accessible.
The stainless-steel pump housing ensures an excellent resistance against corrosive liquids. The overall design of the pump allows applications for different types of water, such as brackish water and sea water.
The pumps are equipped with Grundfos MG motors ranging from 3 to 22 kW and Siemens motors ranging from 30 to 37 kW. The enclosure class of the motors is IP55. The motors are controlled by a frequency converter and protected by Pt100 sensors. The frequency converter is sold as a separate accessory and must be purchased along with the pump. We recommend a Grundfos CUE frequency converter; however, frequency converters from alternative suppliers can be used as well.
