A seat ring is designed to be welded to the column pipe. The seat ring fixate the KPL/KWM pump in the optimum position during operation i.e. so that it does not start to rotate in any direction during operation. The seat ring also allows the pump to be installed and lifted without the use of any tools than traditional lifting equipment.
