About EWS water-treatment controllers
EWS controllers automate and monitor the operation of water-treatment equipment. The range covers reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, filters and softeners, demineralisation, cooling towers, conductivity measurement and cartridge-filter applications. Each controller is designed for a particular process, with functions and connection options that vary by model.
Process control and monitoring
For reverse osmosis, the OS3050 provides operating stages for production, standby, rinsing and maintenance. It measures conductivity and accepts signals from devices such as level and pressure switches. Its outputs can control pumps and valves and provide alarm signals; temperature measurement is available as an option.
For filters and softeners, the ES2070 SV controls solenoid valves in single- or double-column installations, including alternating or parallel arrangements. Its programmable functions include regeneration, flushing and alarm outputs, with inputs for water meters and level switches.
For cooling towers, the AS3037 combines conductivity measurement with programmable operating stages for service, flushing and shot dosing. Depending on the configuration, its outputs can be assigned to valves, dosing equipment and alarms. Temperature measurement is optional.
Practical advantages and model selection
Programmable settings allow these controllers to be configured for the equipment they serve. The OS3050, ES2070 SV and AS3037 retain their programmed configuration in non-volatile memory, so the settings are not lost when power is interrupted. Their displays provide access to operating information and settings.
When comparing models, consider the treatment process, operating sequence, number and type of inputs and outputs, power supply and mounting arrangement. Measurement functions and optional extensions differ between models. Use the linked product datasheets above to compare the specifications for your installation.
