3M Betafine PPG / PTG Series Filter Cartridge

3M's Betafine PEG series filter cartridge, formerly known as PolyPro XL, 3M's Betafine ™ PPG Series cartridge, represents a major advance in pleated polypropylene filter design and performance.

Advanced Pleat Technology (APT) construction combines:

• up to 50% more filter media (surface) than competitive filters,
• graded-density media for optimum pollution business,
• new cartridge design for increased flow and reduced pressure drop.

The result is a filter cartridge that last longer, performs better, and is more advantageous.
Betafine PPG Series filters for the pharmaceutical and biotechnological applications are available in the following versions:

• PPG model, delivered with quality certificate
• Model PTG with factory certified integrity testing.

The size determines how long the service life of a filter will be and how it will perform. However, by taking into account of the increasing surface area without the flow path between the media pleats can result in flow restriction and a shorter service life.
To achieve the optimum between the surface and the performance, 3M Betafine PPG designed Series is where the bending process and media support materials together provide improved flow characteristics and longer life.
