Abstract

For the removal of high boiling solvents from process water and wastewater, copolyimides have been synthesized and modified in order to obtain organophilic membranes. As organic solvents to be removed aniline, phenol, nitrobenzene and some other high boiling solvents have been investigated. Pervaporation experiments have been performed with different feed mixtures in the temperature range between 30°C and 80°C in order to determine the influence of temperature on the separation characteristics.
