4.1. Conventional ion exchange systems T hermal resins work effectively on the b rackish and low saline water as effluent. Its byp roduct now can be used for the feed water on b oilers and water cool condensers. T he product water from thermal resins can n ow be used also as feed water on conventional i on exchange systems, which will now provide m inimal cost on production expense on chemical r egenerant since the bulk dissolved salts are a lready removed by thermal resins. The final p roduct has high purity water comparable to d istilled water as usually needed in industrial and d rinking water production. 4. 2. p H requirements T he pH level can be adjusted according to the n eeds by passing it through a pH adjuster.
