Conclusion
1. In the experimental conditions examined, h ydrochloric acid transfer through the anion e xchange membrane is realized by diffusion, a nd is independent of the current density at t he electrodialysis process. 2 . The general mass transfer coefficient of h ydrochloric acid across the anion exchange m embrane is in order of magnitude above t han those ones of molecules ofNaC1, CdCI2, NiCl2, and ZnCl2 at the same experimental c onditions. This allows using the process for r egeneration of hydrochloric acid from acid w astewaters. 3. In accordance with the ability to transfer t hrough the anion exchange membrane the e xanimate molecules of the impurities may b e arranged in order of magnitude (the mass t ransfer rate of the impurity molecules across t he anion exchange membrane increases from l eft to right): N iCI2 < NaCI < CdC12 < ZnC12
