Conclusion

• I n general, changes in feed water temperat ure, pressure, concentration and flow rate t rigger similar responses on the performance o f HF and SW membranes. Product recovery, ~, is found to increase w i t h feed water t emperature and pressure, but decreases with i ncreasing feed water concentration and flow r ate. Salt passage, SP, is found to increase w ith feed water temperature and concent ration, but decreases with increasing feed w ater pressure and flow rate.
