Abstract
For the first time the effect of essential shift of the overlimiting state potentials on the current Á voltage curves for the composite membranes PANI/MF-4SC has been observed. This effect is explained by morphology changes of initial membrane due to formation of interpolymeric complexes of electron-conducting polyaniline with polymer segments of perfluorinated matrix. The obtained results indicate the dominating role of water in the polarization phenomena.
Conclusion
The CVC of perfluorinated MF-4SC membrane/PANI composites obtained under different conditions of synthesis were investigated. In CVC with MF-4SC/PANI composites, the potential transition into the overlimiting state increases more than 2 V in comparison with initial membrane. It was shown that a possible reason of the observed phenomenon is the change of water energetic state with the formation of an interpolymeric aqua complex in the spaces between the nitrogen-containing PANI components and the side chains of the template matrix.
