Characterization of foulant removal by confocal scanning laser microscopy

CSLM has been used together with macroscopic results to characterize foulant removal from microfiltration membranes. The effect of running PBS buffer during 30 min (after the filtration) is that protein is driven inside the membrane and the PBS flux is lower that the one obtained at the end of the protein filtration for the two membranes tested.
