Conclusion
UF carried out at pressures up to 4 bar and NF operated in all the range of pressures present a good performance in terms of permeation fluxes. The UF and NF permeation fluxes decrease slightly with WRR and they are 15– 19% lower than pure water fluxes indicating a low degree of membrane fouling for both membranes. Moreover, NF presents a much better performance in terms of organics removal than UF and assures high quality of the treated water.
