NEW: MOBILE WATER TREATMENT!

Lenntech now has the opportunity to provide you with mobile (emergency) water treatment systems that can be started up and applied on the spot.
Mobile water treatment systems are concerned with many different applications, such as drinking water preparation, process water production, and various applications for water shortages.

Which are the options of mobile water treatment?

Various processes can take place within the mobile water treatment units. These can be chemical processes, such as coagulation and flocculation, precipitation, Reverse Osmisis and ion exchange, but also decreasing of the BOD and COD levels of water, as well as the removal of suspended solids from lake and swimming pool water. Apart from these chemical and biological processes, disinfection for the removal of unwanted microrganisms can also be achieved. During this process toxic by-products will be ruled out.
Our mobile water treatment units have different capacities, within the range of 0,8-100m3/h.

The units are very suitable for emergency water treatment and water treatment during calamities, as temporary process-units, for water production during repair of a water treatment plant and for the extension or replacement of an existing water treatment system.
Mobile water treatment systems can be applied for the treatment of both surface water and groundwater. When these units are applied for groundwater treatment a lot of money is saved, because of the opportunity to perform the treatment on the spot, so that there is no need for transportation. Moreover, even very small particles can be removed from the water during treatment in a mobile unit.

What does a mobile water treatment unit consist of?

First of all, one should use one or more containers. The number of containers depends on the quality on the water that requires treatment. The water purification steps can very from primary treatments, such as oil/ water separation, sedimentation and sand filtration, to secondary treatments, such as membrane filtration (Reverse Osmosis) and ion exchange for demiwater production.

Operational information

We recommend that the mobile water treatment units are placed closely to the source of water pollution. When the water treatment is performed in a batch process, constant processing and separation of water will prevent the water from becoming polluted again.
The mobile treatment units perform primary water treatment steps. This means that the water still needs a follow-up treatment after it has left the units. The follow-up treatment is determined by the function that the water will have. When water is purified in a mobile treatment unit it does not need preliminary treatment. The mobile water treatment units do have the opportunity to conduct preliminary water treatment, themselves.
The systems are very complete. The only things that our costumer will need to add to the system are power, water connections and sewer connections.
