AL 50 is a new and environmental friendly technique for algae removal through ultrasonic waves

AL 50 is a device that generates ultrasonic waves, creating an environment in which algae cannot survive.

An ultrasonic vibration has a frequency at least above 15-20 kHz, with no upper limit. A transducer is a device that accepts an input of energy in one form and produces an output of energy in some other form, with a known, fixed relationship between the input and the output. 

AL 50 transforms high-frequency electric vibrations in mechanical vibrations of the same frequency through its transducer. These ultrasonic waves collapse the gas vacuoles of algae and effectively kill them at a short exposure time. After a few days the algae exposed to Al 50 are dead. The dead algae will float around for a few weeks: because the water is actually moving they cannot sink directly to the bottom. Living algae would probably colour the water green for two or more weeks before dying a natural death.

AL 50 is installed inside the water body and it must remain switched on day and night, summer and winter. It consumes a negligible 50 W and requires no maintenance. If the device is plugged out for a few weeks, it is needed to clean the front of the transducer with vinegar.

In conclusion, the problem of excessive presence of algae and of algae bloom in your pound, pools, lake, fountain or reservoir can be solved in a short time applying AL 50 The result is attractive, clean water suitable for boating and swimming.
