Dust-purification-techniques
Spray chamber | |
| In spray chambers or spray towers water is divided in fine drops or misted, generally by means of adjudges or "nozzles" in the scrubber, whereas the gas tangential below, therefore in counter-current, it is invoked. Due to the centrifugal function an already pre-separator of rough particles act below the column. Performance of co- or cross flow of spray towers is also not possible but for not for dust scrubbing (only for disposal of gaseous components). For the disposal of fine particles a high L/G ratio is needed. The separation efficiency vary between 70 and 99% dependent on particle size partitioning. |
